OUR STORY

Ever since I can remember, hunting has been a huge passion in my life. Whether it was the excitement of receiving a box of shotgun shells for Christmas when I was just old enough to shoot a gun, or the many hours I rode with my dad across Texas pulling his old dog wagon full of our loyal canines on the way to our next hunt, the thrill of the hunt always brought a level of excitement that almost nothing else could top.

As I grew, so did my passion for whitetail deer hunting. I was always amazed by the majesty of a big, typical horned buck watching me as I watched him back, and I was equally intrigued by why bucks in East Texas, where I grew up, looked so much different from the bucks I would see during visits with friends in South Texas. It wasn’t long before I drove my stake in the ground of Pearsall and, with the coaching of my Derby Sand Ranch friends, I knew that deer breeding would become part of my destiny and a passion untapped. And thus began the birth of G2 Breeding and Hunting. It made me realize I was the luckiest man who ever wore boots!

I’ve always believed “you only get out what you put in,” and I can promise a lot of heart, by a lot of folks, has been put into creating G2 Ranch. I hope you’ll accept my invitation to come to visit soon!
